They were joined by dedicated board member Ellis Wyms, former NFL player of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and current Founder of Athletes for Computer Science. With a passion for youth empowerment, Ellis provided these young scholars with a host of valuable information regarding leadership and financial literacy accompanied by the Junior Achievement Program, JA Our City. The student leaders ranged from Pre-K to 5th grade, and while young, the information was well received.

After the lesson, it was time to open gifts! Through JA Board Members and Staff donations, there were multiple presents for each student. Tearful eyes consumed the room as the students were beaming with joy.
"Wow! A football!"
"This is exactly what I wanted!"
"Look at my new shoes!"
Each of the students were pleasantly surprised to open their gifts, with parents deepest appreciation for JA spreading the holiday cheer in recognition of their children's accomplishments. It was the perfect seasons greetings that they had always hoped for.

As we navigate 2022, let the students of Frost Elementary motivate you to exhibit kindness and compassion throughout the year. A quote from Scott Adams says, "Remember there's no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end." You never know what someone is going through, but unknowingly could be the catalyst to bring triumphant change in the hearts and minds of our community.
