The Think Tank 2021 business plan competition hosted by the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship, at the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business, was a tremendous learning experience for our JA Company Program startups and executive leaders. Even more exciting is that NINE JA Company Program startups made it to the hard-fought, final round of this competition! We are proud to announce that Simply Co. placed FIRST, winning the coveted $3,000 prize, and Dulicious Co. placed THIRD to bring home a $1,000 prize. Congratulations to both startups and our amazing CEOs, Michelle Wang and Sophia Zhao, for their superlative performances!
Junior Achievement Company Program is grateful to the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business, and especially the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship, for the support and guidance in nurturing young entrepreneurs. The student startups were also guided in their pre-immersion by our JA Company Program ambassador Alyssa Le, from the University of Texas at Austin. This year JA Company Program alumni like Alyssa have hosted multiple pre-competition trainings and workshops to provide special insights that help our student startups excel. We are indebted to all of our partners who continue demonstrating a strong commitment to young entrepreneurs by providing their support and enriching experiences for startups to thrive.
